Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVELMA DELROSE SWAN Suddenly at her residence, Velma Swan, aged 79 years of Winnipeg, MB and formerly of Vogar, MB, passed away on December 27, 2018. Wake services will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Lake Manitoba First Nation Band Hall and will continue until the funeral service to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019 also in the hall with Calvin Desjarlais officiating. You were the only grandma I ever knew, the only relative I can remember. I don't hold much memory of you anymore, but when I think of you I feel warm. My mom said you loved when she would drop me and my siblings off to spend time with you. I don't know if that's true or not but I loved visiting you. I wish I could visit your grave but you're all the way in Sagkeeng, and I don't own a car. This woman is one of the best. She raised me along with my sister and brother as one of her own. R.I.P. You have done so much for this world during your time here. There's so many other persons lives you've changed and you never took enough credit. You changed my life path. You changed a lot around you. May God enjoy your presence. I love you forever.
